Claire holds a LLM (First Class) from the University of Cambridge, and a LLB (First Class Honours) and a BA from the University of Canterbury.

Claire joined the firm in 2016 after returning from the Netherlands where she was working for the International Criminal Court.  Prior to joining Wilson Harle, Claire worked in the public law team at Crown Law and, before that, was Judge's Clerk to Rt Hon Justice Tipping and Hon Justice Glazebrook of the Supreme Court of New Zealand.

Claire has experience assisting clients across a broad range of litigation and dispute resolution matters.   Most recently, Claire has acted and advised clients on matters involving consumer protection, contract law, trust law and competition.

Noteworthy

Claire was awarded the University Prize in Law from the University of Canterbury in 2011 and the Sir Emlyn Wade Prize from the University of Cambridge in 2015.

Claire has authored a number of papers published in international journals, particularly in the area of environmental law.
