David joined the law from a previous career as a production journalist. He was admitted to the bar in 2015 and holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Communication Studies from AUT. Before joining Wilson Harle, he worked in the dispute resolution team of a large commercial law firm.
David has appeared in the District Court, Family Court, High Court, and the Court of Appeal as junior counsel. He has a keen interest in contract, defamation, competition and insurance law. He also enjoys issues engaging civil procedure and conflict of laws.
